Compact, 'Little Gem' producing a crisp, dense heart. Delicious sweet flavour. Some downy mildew tolerance.

Sow March to July, every 4 weeks for continuous crops. Sow thinly in drills 13mm deep in rows 23cm apart, in well prepared soil in full sun.

Thin plants to 20cm apart and keep well watered for the most flavoursome hearts. Can be grown in pots and growbags as well as directly in the garden.

Harvest June to September. Later plants can be afforded cloche protection to extend the season.
