Liatris Spicata also known as 'Blazing Star' produces long purple flower heads in June and July. Growing to a height of around 60cm; Liatris make a welcome addition to herbaceous borders and flower beds.
Liatris like well drained soil and sunshine. They are good plants for beds, borders and as cut flowers.
Water freely in dry weather. Liatris do not require lifting for winter. Divide them and replant every 3 - 4 years.
