Crocosmia Emily McKenzie is an orange crocosmia with a red eye. Flowering all summer long, Emily Mackenzie grows to around 60cm in height.
Crocosmia like to be planted in well-drained soil in a sunny, open position. They grow particularly well in borders and rockeries.
Crocosmia bulbs like to be well watered during the growing period. The corms are never completely dormant, so leave them in the ground, providing a good mulch in all but the mildest areas.
Crocosmia make excellent cut flowers.
