These fantastic RHS Rose Gloves are manufactured under license granted by the RHS and endorsed as the glove to wear when pruning roses. They offer protection against thorns and sharp objects as well as resistance to abrasion, puncturing and tears. They are made from 100% cotton with a complete hand coverage nitrile coating making it water resistant and has a reinforced safety cuff for wrist protection.

Purchased these, together with the ladies' gloves, the green trug and other items, as a Christmas present for a couple who have just acquired a very large garden that's lain untouched for 25 years. Bought these gloves to clear an overgrown allotment with lots of brambles. They have had several weeks of use but are already starting to fall apart and offer only limited protection to thorns. Leather gloves would be a better purchase for such a big job. They would be fine for lighter gardening work but I'm a bit disappointed with these.
